The islands sit at the meeting point of the Carribean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

According to Kepios, 76% of the population of Antigua and Barbuda had access to the internet at the beginning of 2022.

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has created its own form of digital currency meant to help speed transactions and serve people without bank accounts. It is the first such blockchain-based currency introduced by any of the world’s currency unions, though some individual nations have similar existing systems.
