The Ozone Layer – Open Banking in Brazil
In the latest instalment of the Ozone Layer we had the privilege of being joined by Tiago Aguiar who leads the development of New Platforms at TecBan.
As Brazil starts it’s open banking regulation with a very broad and progressive scope, we discuss the development of Open Banking in Brazil, tackling financial inclusion and the role that TecBan are playing.
In addition, we hear more about the huge Hackathon which TecBan ran just a few weeks ago. With over a thousand applicants, this was a festival of innovation and Tiago talks about some of the great propositions that were developed. With almost 50m people outside of the traditional banking market, it is no surprise that Financial Inclusion was a big area of focus.
There will be more episodes of the Ozone Layer to come. If you have an idea for something you would like us to talk about with our partners and friends then please follow us on Linkedin or Twitter and let us know.
